Yacht Club Games ha rilasciato un nuovo trailer di Shovel Knight, promettente platform 2D in arrivo sull’eShop di Wii U e 3DS nel corso dell’inverno.

Sembra che Shovel Knight non abbellirà il natale di Wii U e 3DS quest'anno. Yacht Club Games infatti ha confermato che il titolo vedrà il suo rilascio nel 2014. YCG spera di portare il gioco assolutamente nei primi mesi invernali del 2014.

Shovel Knight, titolo di Yacht Club Games in uscita per PC, Wii U e Nintendo 3DS, era previsto per la fine del 2013, circa un mese fa però Yacht Club Games , ha affermato che il gioco in stile retrogame, doveva essere ultimato per bene e il rilascio si sposto nel 2014. Bene ora Yacht Club Games, ha rilasciato un nuovo trailer del gioco e la data di uscita ufficiale, il 31 marzo prossimo:

Shovel Knight, titolo sviluppato per PC, Nintendo 3DS e Wii U da Yacht Club Games, di cui Nintendo ha recentemente rilasciato un video, sul proprio canale youtube, verrà rilasciato il prossimo 31 Marzo sull'eShop Nintendo. Oggi veniamo a sapere però che il titolo sfrutterà le caratteristiche più interessanti delle console Nintendo, Lo Streetpass per il 3DS, e il Miiverse per il Wii U. Ecco le funzioni disponibili che saranno disponibili nel gioco:

- Wii U version allows players to leave hints for others- Choose “The Digger’s Diary” from the GamePad, then leave advice on how to defeat enemies, find hidden gems, etc.
- Can also leave drawings of bosses in rooms just before the encounter
- Digger’s Diary name will probably change

“The cool part is that it’s room-based. Every time there’s a room where you don’t know what to do, or if you just want some more information, you can tap on this diary. [Maybe you'll] leave a message for other players or get a message yourself, or maybe learn a little more the same way you would trade secrets on the school ground.”

- StreetPass Arena confirmed for 3DS
- StreetPass Arena name is also tentative
- In these levels, players will record five-second clips, which are then used against other player’s recorded gameplay during a pass
- Need to collect gems or hit the opposing Shovel Knight with whatever strategy you’ve recorded
- Can watch the recorded battle and revise your moves once the StreetPass battle is over
- Velasco compared it to a game of rock-paper-scissors, but with a little more strategy

Yacht Club Games, ha annunciato da qualche ora, che il suo gioco, Shovel Knight, previsto per l'uscita il 31 marzo su Wii U, 3DS e PC, a cui sta lavorando da mesi, arriverà con qualche settimana di ritardo rispetto alla data annunciata. Yacht Club Games rivela di voler apportare numerosi miglioramenti al gioco, per renderlo perfetto per tutte le piattaforme su cui verrà rilasciato, ecco alcuni dei miglioramenti:

- Dialogue and scripted events are being finalized
- Finishing touches put on level design for the final levels
- Overall game balancing
- Platform specific standards so everything runs smoothly on your system of choice!
- Testing, testing, testing… on all platforms!

Shovel Knight, titolo molto atteso dai fan Nintendo, che uscirà su eShop del Nintendo Wii U e del 3DS, è stato finalmente inviato a Nintendo dal team di sviluppo, Yacht Club Games, che conferma tramite la pagina Kickstarter, dove ha raccolto i tantissimi fondi per la buona riuscita del gioco:

FOR SHOVELRY! After near endless days of bleary-eyed internal testing and bug fixing, we opened this week by creating a gold master candidate of Shovel Knight! That means we have a potentially finished version of the game which is ready to go live!

Now we are in the submission and certification process for platform holders. That’s when external teams verify that the game works as expected. If everything checks out on their side, then they’ll prepare the game to go live on their digital storefront and get back to us with a true, solid release date.

But! If they uncover any issues that somehow slipped by our team then the game will “bounce” back to us for a fix! So… at this point, even the Yacht Club is playing the waiting game.

Con un tweet nelle ultime ore,Yacht Club Games, che ormai penso conoscete bene, per lo sviluppo di Shovel Knight, rimandato già diverse volte, l'ultima il 31 marzo scorso sull'eShop Wii U, 3DS e su PC, ora ci fanno sapere che il titolo uscirà il prossimo 26 giugno. Il titolo però sembra previsto all'uscita in quella data solo nell'eShop USA, nessuna notizia su una data precisa per il rilascio europeo, ne sapremo di più presto? staremo a vedere, nel frattempo ecco il tweet sopracitato:
